Kayleen Tolley

Instructor since January 1997

Owner since July 2003

Hello, my name is Kayleen Tolley and I have worked as a Physi kids Instructor since 1998. I have a Diploma in Education and a background in athletics and child care. I have attained my Beginning Coaching Principles Certificate through the Australian Sports Commission, my Grass Roots License through the Australian Football Federation, and I have completed my Small Business Certificate. More recently I attained my Level 1 Coaching Certificate through HockeyEd and my Level 1 Junior Coaching Certificate through AFL Queenlsand. I have two sons and a very supportive Husband (below). My job now is mostly managerial, as I run everything in the background from Physi kids Headquarters. I do occasionally need to relieve our Instructors during busy times! My favourite day of the week is when I volunteer at ACT for Kids!

Chris Tolley

Co-Owner since July 2003

Party Instructor

With my Beginning Coaching Principles Certificate from the Australian Sports Commission in hand,  I went on to enjoy coaching all aspects of athletics with children aged 8 to 13 years. During the football season, I coach the under 11’s soccer team at Mansfield Eagles, which led me to attain my Grass Roots and Junior License’s through the Australian Football Federation. I have been coaching this young group of footballers since they were under 5’s. Before all of this I was a chef, trained in Sydney, and working at The Hilton Hotel in Brisbane. I am one of a very rare species, as I have spent many years as a SAHD (stay at home dad).

I have been an Educator at Scallywags Child Care Centre in Mt Gravatt since 2006, putting my Diploma in Childcare to good use.  In 2014 I gained Water Safety and Infant Aquatic qualifications and began teaching ‘learn to swim’ on Saturday mornings. When the weather is warmer, I do like swimming myself. My twins are currently mastering their bike riding skills, so this is a really fun time together. They are now in Prep, and they loved participating in Physi kids classes when they were still at kindy! It’s a privilege to be part of children’s lives as they learn and grow, and I enjoy taking a key role in that journey.

Janine Egan

I have an 8 year old son with special needs who loved his time at Physi kids, and I enjoyed hearing all of the fun things he did each week at his lesson. I even took the time to sit in on a couple of lessons to see what all the fuss was about! I love little people and believe I could bring a whole lot of happiness to their lives. Providing sessions where they feel loved, included, and able to do anything they set their mind too, whilst having loads of fun! I am very passionate about getting children with all abilities involved in sport, and have a certificate in ADHD Awareness. I gained my Community Coaching Certificate through the Australian Sports Commission and have my MiniRoos Coaching Certificate also.  I love Volunteering for the Brisbane Paralympic Football Program.
