“Thanks for the info night Kayleen, we all learnt so much about making gross motor development fun for the children and had a great time ourselves. As well as being an excellent information evening it was a brilliant team building night. Everybody had a great time and spoke about it for days. We’re all motivated to exercise again. I haven’t laughed that hard in ages!” Hari Kouvidis- Director of Mater Hospital Child Care Centre. May 28 2009.

All workshops are run by Kayleen Tolley, owner and manager of Physi kids. Kayleen has been working as a Physi kids Instructor since 1997. The Physi kids program runs in over 100 child care facilities within Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, and has a child client database of up to 1500 children each year. After spending her youth as a competitive athlete, with her mind set on becoming a coach at the AIS, Kayleen was sidetracked when an admired mentor asked her to try her hand at working with young children. She went on to study education, and became a Group Leader at a child care centre in Cleveland. Four years later, the opportunity to work at Physi kids presented itself. Awesome! Now she was able to combine both areas of interest: children and sport! Kayleen worked as a Physi kids Instructor for 6 years, and then took over ownership in 2003. Kayleen’s qualifications include an Associate Diploma in Education, a Beginning Coaching General Principles Certificate through the Australian Sports Commission, and a Grassroots Australian Football License through the Australian Football Federation. However her qualifications are really secondary to her many years of practical, hands-on experience as a facilitator of children’s gross motor development. Kayleen doesn’t claim to be an expert in her field, but rather has the energy and passion you need to motivate and encourage your Educators.
